What do we do?

K&H Sensor Solutions was created to be a company that specializes in and develops many types of sensors that use a WiFi connection to communicate and monitor through a mobile app. We are excited to see where our original idea of the “K&H WiFi Water Softener Salt Sensor“ takes us to from here.

Who are we?

Benji Koontz has been a water treatment specialist since 2007 at Oxley Softwater Co. in Muncie Indiana. Many years after being in water treatment and after conceiving the idea of a water softener salt sensor that would run through a mobile app, he shared the idea with his friend Patrick Huth who is a chemical engineer from Akron Ohio...and K&H Sensor Solutions was born. Legend has it that these two men decided to invest in this idea together over a beer at H2 Huth & Harris Wine Merchants in Canton, Ohio. If you are ever in Canton, you should visit H2 and ask for Whitney instead of Pat.
