Remove battery cover with Phillips screwdriver. Install 1 fully charged 18650 3000 MAH 3.7V battery (your local battery store should have these along with a charger) 

Mount your new K&H Salt Sensor (see illustration of salt tanks to choose how to mount sensor)

Scan QR code located on sensor or user instruction sheet. Be sure to be in a well lit area when scanning QR code. Once you have successfully scanned the QR code you can move on to step four. 

Turn switch to on position and the power on light should come on within a few seconds. Wait for the light to go to sleep before proceeding to step 5. 

Using a ball point pen or paper clip, push the hotspot trigger for three seconds and release. The light should come back on. 

Tap the banner that appeared in the app after you scanned the QR code. You should now see the cut away view of a salt tank. 

Tap “RE-CONFIGURE” and immediately enter your username and password to your WiFi and tap connect at the bottom. The light will stay on for a few minutes. If light goes out while entering username and password, push hot spot trigger again. It might take a couple of minutes to connect. Be patient. After successfully configuring, wait 10 min before receiving the first accurate salt level to be displayed.
